How to Keep Your E-Cigarette Clean

Since its introduction, electric cigarette is getting more and more popular. However as a new device, many are still unknown about it. And so, it is important that you use it safely. One way to do that is to keep it clean.

Generally, e-cig is an alternative to traditional cigarette. The use of it is claimed to help quit smoking. Whether you intend to stop smoking or not though, it is still said to be the better choice as it is safer with the absence of tobacoo in them having vaporized liquid nicotine as the replacement.

Though how both choices work are not really the same, e cigaretettes share the same looks with their traditional counterparts. Instead of a single unit though, the modern device is composed of several parts. It has a cartridge where the vaporized nicotine is inhaled, atomizer, the part that vaporizes the liquid nicotine and a rechargeable battery the one that supplies energy to get it to work. Besides those, most e-cigs also have LED on their tip for a burning effect.

If you are to clean it, you have to therefore get into its every piece. The whole device will not be considered clean and safe to be used if one part of it has been neglected. And when doing the work, remember that you have to get it done correctly. To do that, the following are the steps that you must learn and implement.

  • Use a smooth cloth when cleaning the device especially the part around the battery and the atomizer. See to it also that no dirt is in the cloth that your are to use as particles can get into the part that heats the e-liquid.

  • Drain the excess liquid or liquid build up in the device. To do this, you have to remove the battery and the mouthpiece. Then blow into the whole that connects the atomizer to clear the liquid. Tap then the atomizer with a clean every now and then. Repeat this process until the liquid is fully drained.

  • For a more effective cleaning, disassemble the device. Lay out each of its parts on a clean cloth. The atomizer can also be drained of excess water by doing that.

  • Make the cleaning of your e-cigarette regular especially is you use it often. If you keep on using it without cleaning, dirt will build up that can cause the inefficiency of the device.

In general, for smokeless e cigsto be truly effective alternatives, proper care must be given to them. And one sure way to get that done is to clean them properly.

Pile on Excess Weight with Cigarettes?

Many smokers keep it up because they think they will gain weight if they quit. But what if smoking was more a factor in weight gain - but one that took place over time? “How can this be?” you ask. Let me share why..

Your liver is your prime detoxification and your prime fat burning organ. Your liver actually has over one thousand different jobs, and two of its important jobs are daily detoxification and fat burning.

Most people know that smoking pollutes the body with literally hundreds of different and dangerous chemicals per cigarette. But, you may not know that with habits that pollute the body to such an extreme, your liver easily becomes overloaded from the constant need to detoxify all of these incoming chemicals.

In addition to being generally overworked, your liver will also eventually become congested with toxins. This is because if your liver can’t render a toxin harmless for you - it’ll store it. Your liver does this to keep the incoming chemicals and toxins out of your bloodstream - and keep them from causing you immediate harm. It’s a short term favor your liver will do for you, but if it’s allowed to happen continually, it’ll absolutely cause problems over time.

By smoking, toxins will build in your liver and your entire body. With time, your liver will become impaired and unable to do its regular work - including burning fat and daily detoxification. Actually, smoking is an excellent way to build toxicity in your liver and thus  hamper your liver’s ability to burn fat. But that’s not what most people want. It’s the opposite of what they want.

Quitting smoking is an excellent move in the right direction to dramatically decrease your incoming toxic load. In addition, doing a body cleanse, including a liver cleanse, can work wonders in removing much of the toxicity that smokers and even ex-smokers carry in their bodies. Because, while it’s unfortunate, most accumulated toxicity will stay in your body until some deep cleansing, especially liver cleansing, is done. And there’s only so much of a toxic burden that a body can bear before it starts showing symptoms of problems. Weight gain is actually a common symptom of an unhealthy liver! Health problems are too.

It’s no secret that health problems are more common and often more serious in smokers. Do you know why? The pollution of the body with so many highly toxic chemicals is certainly a considerable part of the reason.

But the other part is that by overburdening and overworking the liver, the chemicals actually hamper the liver’s ability to detoxify itself - in general. And when our livers can’t detoxify all of the unnatural incoming chemicals from smoking, processed foods, non-organic foods, lotions, cleaning supplies, and cosmetics, these toxins will start to build in a manner unprecedented in your body. You’ll undoubtedly start to see problems.

In addition, if you haven’t quit yet, body cleansing can help you quit. This is because it’s the chemicals from the cigarettes in your body that are causing your cravings. You didn’t have cigarette cravings before you began smoking, did you? So by removing these chemicals from your body, you can eliminate your cravings. Trust me, both dropping the butt and cleaning out your body can be the best things you’ve ever done for yourself. And you might just lose some weight in the process.
