Colon Cleanse Facts - Uncover Suitable Advice on Fresh Products

The incidence of colon cancer is second only to that of lung cancer. More and more people are diagnosed with this form of cancer every year. Are the harmful remnants of fecal matter in the intestine to blame for the increase in colon cancer cases?

Despite the fact that some in the mainstream medical community say colon cleansing is not necessary or even advisable, it remains a very popular alternative therapy for promoting optimum health.

The effects of colon cancer and other colon-related illnesses can be painful and long-lasting. Besides affecting the quality of life of the patient, it can become so severe that a colostomy is required. A colostomy is the surgical removal of portions of the intestine.

Depending on the amount of intestine that is removed, a colostomy bag may be necessary. Because fecal matter cannot pass through the intestines and follow the normal excretion process, it is passed into the colostomy bag. This must be manually emptied regularly.

Preventing this extreme procedure is the key. Cancer or other disorders of the colon are not always preventable, but there is a percentage of situations where problems are avoidable by maintaining good colon health through colonic irrigation and a healthy diet. You may even want to attempt the best colon cleanse out there.

Those trying to maintain colon health through diet typically avoid artificial foods and preservatives, such as high fructose corn syrup and hydrogenated oils. These foods can attack your colon because they are not easily digested and excreted; this may make the colon more susceptible to illness.

While it is certainly true that natural foods can contribute to the incidence of colon cancer and disease, artificial, chemical-infused foods are thought to make the risk for serious illness much higher.

This constant abuse to your digestive system can impact its ability to absorb nutrients, and can result in chronic constipation.

This condition goes widely unnoticed by most of its sufferers, as bowel moments are made, but are reduced in size. This is due to the walls of the intestine being coated with hardened matter.

This can effect general health, because suffers become malnourished without knowing a problem even exists. Implementing a healthy diet will help minimize this problem. Natural foods pass naturally.

Incredibly, as much as five to twenty pounds of fecal matter can build up in the colon. At this point, diet may help alleviate the problem, but it won’t eliminate it.

When people have such high amounts of built-up fecal matter on their intestine walls, it may result in an overall feeling of ill health. Treating this with laxatives or hydrotherapy can be very effective. These colonic irrigation methods cleanse the bowels. They can then start to absorb nutrients and start working as they should.

Not only will this improve your overall health, but many people report weight loss from multiple cleansings.

How do you know you have an issue with your colon? You may notice different signs, which may include diarrhea, insomnia, gas, fatigue, constipation, prostate problems, headaches, backaches, and weight retention. Many of these go unnoticed because you may not immediately link them with colon health, and they may be very mild.

If you experience any of these symptoms, your colon may be trying to tell you something. Listen and improve your health. To get your financial health under control, begin with a free credit report. However, to maintain great health in your body long term, consider burn the fat feed the muscle.

Why Not Try a Colon Cleanse?

Many people do not appreciate how greatly a person’s overall health can be affected by their colon. A great deal of the most common physical issues can be improved by a regular colon cleanse routine, many of which will be mentioned in this article.

A popular use for colon cleansing is to treat and prevent constipation. Constipation tends to make us feel very sluggish; the reason for this is because the colon saps our energy levels in an attempt to rid itself of excess fecal build-up. Developing a regular colon cleanse routine can help your colon with the fecal elimination process.

In some cases, depending upon the amount of feces retained in the bowel, a person can retain several pounds in weight simply by being unable to expel the built-up feces. If you find that your energy levels just aren’t what they used to be and you can’t seem to lose those few stubborn pounds, you most likely could benefit from a colon cleanse.

Did you realize that even your skin’s health can be affected by the functionality of your colon? When your colon becomes overburdened with built-up toxins, they can be relesased into the rest of your body. Eventually these toxins reach the skin and can cause a number of skin problems.

When your colon is able to function in proper working order, your colon will be draw all necessary vitamins and minerals from your food–all of which can be encouraged by a regular colon cleanse. When your colon becomes overburdened with excess feces, your body is unable to gather the necessary nutrients from your food.

While colon cleansing is proven to have positive health effects, colon cleanse products should not be used more than stated on the instructions. If you have colon health issues that you believe surpass the abilities of colon cleansing, please consult your doctor.

Foods That Help Clean Your Colon

Most people new to the idea of colon cleansing for good health, are turned off by the idea of doing an enema or colon irrigation. So they look for alternative methods to cleaning their colon, and one of the most natural colon cleansing methods they discover is food.

Food is one of the best techniques to use for cleansing your colon. Now, there are several approaches to using food for colon cleansing, so we’ll look at a couple of those here.

First: The lack of food can help cleanse your colon. Technically this is called a fast, or a body detox technique. To use this type of colon cleanse you’d just go on a diet of just juices for about a week. Juice fasts can last for two to three weeks if you’d like though, and many people use them for both detoxing their body and losing unwanted body weight.

Juice fasts can be done using either fruit or vegetable juices, but if you’re diabetic you may want to water down your fruit juices because they do contain high amounts of natural sugar.

Not everyone can handle going without solid food for a week or more though, so that brings us to our primary colon cleansing method:

Food. Yes, real, solid food that will fill your stomach.

The best types of foods to eat which will help your colon cleanse itself gently and naturally, are high in fiber.

Whole grain and bran cereals for instance, are an excellent way to get extra fiber into your diet and help cleanse your colon. You may want to try adding flaxseed to your breakfast for even better results.

Anything green and leafy is another excellent source for helping to cleanse the colon. Try eating plenty of vegetables such as spinach, broccoli, and various salad greens.

One of the best foods for helping you cleanse your colon though, is fruit. An excellent example is Blackberries. These fruits pack an amazing 8 grams of fiber and each cup. Prunes and prune juice are also excellent foods to use for cleansing your colon, and just about any other type of fruit or fruit juice which usually makes you have a good bowel movement will work as well.

The whole point of cleansing your colon naturally using food, is to increase your body’s waste elimination process for several days at the minimum. You want to force your body to start flushing out the solid waste materials, so that it’s also carrying the toxins and bacteria out of your body more quickly too.

Colon Cleansing: Is it Really Needed?

Colon cleansing has become increasingly popular in recent years, but it’s been around for ages. Early mentions of colon cleansing date back to biblical times, and today’s health food stores have shelves lined with different colon cleansers.

What accounts for the dramatic rise in people interested in doing colon cleansing these days? Part of it has to do with the rise in popularity of the Master Cleanse and other body cleansing programs. A cleansing program is designed to remove a great deal of toxicity from the body, and as people market these programs, they regularly talk about how much waste the average person has stored in their colon and in their body - there are even some incredible pictures of the filth that has been removed. So, in a nutshell, more people are becoming aware of the need for colon cleansing, because more people are talking about it.

Diets and lifestyles have also changed a great deal in the last fifty years and even more so in the last hundred years. In general, people are eating more processed foods, and less natural foods. This combination is a recipe that allows more filth to build in the colon, where it often sits uneliminated, because the fiber from natural foods that was meant to push the waste out of the body is regular missing form our diets. And, unfortunately, as this waste sits in the colon, it putrefies, and the result is many times disease for the body that carries it.

In fact, many naturopaths believe that all disease begins with this waste stuck in the colon and that all disease can be attributed to toxic waste stored in the body. But, through the use of colon cleansing methods like enemas, colonics, and herbal or oxygenating colon cleansing products, large amounts of this waste can be removed from the body - for good. And when the body and colon are really cleansed though deep body cleansing, it’s quite common for health problems disappear.
