The New Healthy You

Would you not agree that your health should be your number 1 priority and is a precious commodity? That certainly holds true for me, but for most people it’s not considered a top priority. can you remember the last time you went and played sports, or ate a healthy dinner, or simply took a walk rather than use the car or the bus?

What about those smoky bars, did you keep away or get lured in? If you fail to remember the last time that you actually did something for your health that was positive, you need to hear what I’ve got to say.

I was your stereotypical example of an overweight, unhappy individual. If I showed you a photograph (which I couldn’t because I’d be far too embarrassed) you’d agree with me!

I can’t deny it, I was into my early 30’s and weighed around 230 pounds.I could barely get up the stairs to my apartment. I was totally ashamed of my excess weight.

I loathed hearing people tell me what great shape they were in and how active they were.

But despite my unhappiness, I never actually did anything about it! It seemed too much like hard work. Like many people I signed up to a gym but never bothered going. I bought healthy things to eat, but when it came to the crunch, I’d find myself eating junk food when I got hungry.
